The Tan is Melbourne's most famous running track: the 3.8-kilometre loop around the Royal Botanic Gardens, with views out over the Yarra River and the city skyline. RunThrough Australia's race starts on Birdwood Avenue beside the Shrine of Remembrance.
Choose a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon, each a set number of laps of the Tan. Every distance is chip-timed and comes with a unique medal, free race photos and post-race goodies, and the start is a short walk from Flinders Street station.
