The Sydney International Regatta Centre at Penrith hosted the rowing and canoe sprint events of the Sydney 2000 Olympics, and RunThrough Australia races on the flat, traffic-free roads around its lake: an hour north-west of the CBD, with Penrith Lakes and the Lower Blue Mountains in view.
Choose a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon. Every distance is chip-timed and comes with a unique medal, free race photos and post-race goodies, and the lakeside course is as flat as a course gets, which makes it a favourite for personal bests.
