RunThrough Australia’s next The Tan Half Marathon is on Sunday 11 July 2027 at The Tan Track (Birdwood Ave, Melbourne VIC 3004). The Half Marathon starts at 8:00 AM. Entry is A$84, which includes the booking fee.
The course is chip-timed, every finisher gets the event’s unique medal, free race photos and post-race goodies, and your time is added to your RunThrough Rankings profile. The same morning also has a 5K and 10K, so you can bring someone who wants a different distance.
The Tan is Melbourne's most famous running track: the 3.8-kilometre loop around the Royal Botanic Gardens, with views out over the Yarra River and the city skyline. RunThrough Australia's race starts on Birdwood Avenue beside the Shrine of Remembrance.
